WHAT GOES INTO CREATING CUSTOM-DESIGNED CYCLING APPAREL?

We’re currently producing the special edition jerseys for both the hilly and flat stages of this year’s L’Etape Czech Republic — and you’ll be able to get your hands on them very soon. What we enjoy most about this collaboration is being part of a project that brings the race-day atmosphere to everyone who loves cycling. But you might be surprised by what actually goes into creating custom-designed cycling apparel. How does it all come together — from the first idea to the final product?

It all starts quite simply. With an idea.

A colour, a detail, an emotion from a race, a team identity. Sometimes there’s a clear vision from the start; other times, just an initial spark. This is where the foundation of every jersey is created — long before it ever touches fabric.

Then things begin to take shape.

Next comes the selection of specific products based on the customer’s needs and preferences — the fit, the discipline, and expectations for performance on the bike. We offer products that have been tested by professional riders, meaning you can enjoy the same level of quality. Our design team then helps refine your idea and turn it into a real, workable design.

Sustainability is one of our core principles.

We source materials from trusted European suppliers and carefully consider every step of the process — how to minimise waste, how to use fabric efficiently, and how to make decisions that are sustainable in the long term.

The actual production takes place under one roof at our facility in Tábor.

Printing, cutting, sewing, and final assembly are all seamlessly connected, ensuring the finished jersey meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This approach allows us to control every detail — from the first cut to the final stitch.

These same steps are currently underway for this year’s L’Etape Czech Republic jerseys, and you’ll soon be able to order them yourself.
