TWO SPORTING ICONS, RACING ACTION AND FAMILY FUN
One of the biggest attractions of the entire event is undoubtedly the L'Étape by Tour de France Village. Inspired by the world's most prestigious stage race, the village traditionally provides entertainment and activities for both riders and visitors at the start and finish area of the Czech Republic's largest amateur cycling event.
This year, following five editions at Strahov, the event moves to Prague's Pankrác district. On 20 June, during the Hilly Stage, families, friends and visitors will be able to enjoy a full day of activities and entertainment in the heart of the event.
The King of Green Jersey and Big Pete
The L'Étape Czech Republic by Tour de France Village will open its gates on Friday at 3:00 pm. At 4:30 pm, visitors will have the opportunity to attend a special talk with former football goalkeeper and Czech national team appearance record-holder Petr Čech, who will take on the Long Route of the Hilly Stage the following day.
One of the highlights of Friday's programme will undoubtedly be the appearance of Peter Sagan. The only rider in history to win the UCI Road World Championships three years in succession and a seven-time winner of the Škoda Green Jersey at the Tour de France will be answering questions from the audience from 6:00 pm.
Throughout Friday afternoon, visitors can also explore partner stands, visit the Tour de France Museum and see the new Škoda Epiq on display. Riders will, of course, also be able to collect their race packs.

Traffic skills course and the Veolia children's trail
On Saturday, 20 June, the L'Étape Village will be open from 8:00 am. Children will be able to test their cycling skills on the traffic skills course, which will already be available from Friday.
A range of children's competitions will also be organised, alongside the Veolia Children's Trail, where young visitors will complete a series of knowledge and skills-based challenges. Successful participants will collect stamps on their activity cards, and those who complete all tasks will receive gifts from the trail's partner, Veolia.
At 10:00 am, families can take part in the non-competitive Decathlon Family Ride, a relaxed ride of approximately three kilometres. Parents, grandparents and children can experience the atmosphere of the country's biggest cycling event together on a flat, traffic-free circuit around Pankrác.
The ride will take place on a secured route with an official lead vehicle, police motorcycle escort and ceremonial start. Every participant will receive a special commemorative medal at the finish.

The Racing Takes Centre Stage
Naturally, the main focus of Saturday's programme will be the races themselves.
The Long Route peloton of the L'Étape Czech Republic by Tour de France Hilly Stage will set off from Nad Pekařkou Street at 11:00 am. The Medium Route will start one hour later, followed by the Short Route at 1:00 pm.
Each start will be accompanied by spectacular pyrotechnic effects that are guaranteed to delight riders and spectators alike.
Great Food and a Unique Finish-Line Experience
While waiting for friends, partners or family members to return from the race, visitors can enjoy the extensive entertainment programme and recharge with a variety of food and drink options.
The L'Étape Village will feature food trucks and refreshment stands offering a wide selection of food and beverages, ensuring a memorable gastronomic experience throughout the day.
One of the most exciting moments of the weekend will undoubtedly be the finish of the races. The winner of the Long Route is expected to arrive in Pankrác at approximately 2:15 pm, followed by the fastest riders from the Medium and Short Routes.
The official awards ceremony and podium presentations will begin at 5:00 pm.
The L'Étape Czech Republic by Tour de France Village will remain open until 7:30 pm.
However, visitors will have another opportunity to experience the unique L'Étape atmosphere later in the year, as the inaugural Flat Stage of L'Étape Czech Republic will take place in Pardubice on 3 October — the first event of its kind in Czech history.
