Registration and Payment
Participation in the L'Etape Czech Republic race is open to everyone aged 15 and above for the Short route, 16 and above for the Middle route, and 18 and above for the Long route. The race categories can be found in the event guidelines.
Simply fill out the registration form on this website and pay the entry fee.
The main differences between the routes are in the distance and the number of timed segments for King of the Mountain and Sprint premiums.
Another difference lies in the minimum average speed required to successfully finish the race.
The strictest time limit is on the Long route (approx. 25 km/h), followed by the Middle route (22 km/h), and the most relaxed is the Short route (18 km/h).
A final difference is the start times, which vary by distance:
– Long route starts at 12:00
– Middle route at 13:30
– Short route at 14:30
Route details are always published on the webpage of the specific stage.

This option could be selected either during the initial registration or later during the check-in process.
Zásilkovna will deliver the race packets between June 12 and June 17.
If your packet does not arrive for any reason, we’ll most likely be aware of it—it will be returned to us and will be available for pickup at the race office on Friday or Saturday.
Just to be sure, send us an email, and we’ll arrange when you can collect it.
All participants who registered after the deadline or did not complete the additional check-in form must pick up their race packet at the Race Office at Strahov.
The Race Office is located in the Strahov Canteen and will be open on Friday, June 20, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday from 8:00 AM.

Organisational guidlines
On Friday, parking is subject to the usual regulations of the respective city district.
Just keep in mind that Vaníčkova Street will be closed to traffic from 2:30 PM.
Saturday parking could be purchased during check-in or registration.
All participants who did so will receive a parking pass along with their race number. This pass must be placed visibly behind the car’s windshield.
We recommend accessing Parking P1 via Bělohorská Street in the Malovanka area.
Parking P2 is accessible via Skokanská Street, ideally through Tomanova Street.
Access from Plzeňská Street will not be possible on race day due to the closure of the Turistická/Pod Stadiony intersection.
Campervans and motorhomes
Have a designated area within Parking P1, but must display a valid Caravan parking pass.
Other free parking options
If you didn’t purchase a parking pass during check-in or registration, you still have a few options:
– Park in the streets of Prague 6 – the area between Bělohorská and Tomanova Streets does not have residential parking zones on weekends
– Or park along Pod Stadiony Street (enter from Plzeňská)
– Or simply arrive by bike as a warm-up ride.

Participants are sorted into several blocks at the start of the race based on previous years' performance, registration time, and information entered during the registration/check-in process.
Entrances to the starting blocks are marked with a range of start numbers. There will be an accuracy check at the start block entry. Teams will start from the 2nd starting block.
No, it is not possible.
Changes in the registration
The entry fee can be returned free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the race. In the period from 29 to 7 days before the race, the cancellation fee is 50% of the entry fee. If the participation in the race is cancelled less than 7 days before the start, the cancellation fee is 100%.
As a part of the registration process, it is possible to purchase entry fee transfer insurance, which entitles the registered rider to transfer the entry fee to another person. No additional fees will be charged by the organizer for this transfer.
Yes, it is possible to change your race route, but only until Friday, June 20 at 8:00 PM. The change must be made in person at the race office at Strahov, and the rider must be physically present.
We strongly recommend informing us in advance by email at info@letapeczech.cz.
If your race number has already been printed (applies to all who registered before May 30 at 4:00 PM), a new race number must be issued, and a CZK 400 fee will apply. The original race number must be returned.
Unfortunately, according to our terms and conditions this is not possible. This is in order to avoid the emergence of a black market with entry fees due to the progressive price increase and also because of the agreement of the conditions of participation in the race, which each participant confirms at registration.
Yes, deferring your race entry to the next edition is possible only for serious health reasons. A formal request must be submitted by June 13 at 12:00 (noon). No changes will be accepted after this deadline.
To request a deferral, please send an official email to info@letapeczech.cz.
After May 30, when race numbers have already been printed, changes are subject to a handling fee of CZK 400.
Course of the race
The start of the race on the Long Trail is on Saturday 21 June at 12:00. The starting blocks for the ranking of competitors open at 11:30.
The start of the race on the Medium route is on Saturday 21 June at 13:30. The starting blocks for the order of competitors open at 13:00.
The start of the Short Course race is on Saturday 21 June at 14:30. The starting blocks for the order of competitors open at 14:00.
The start time is the same for all competitors and starts at the moment of the start (not when the competitor passes the Start Gate).
The first 8 kilometres or so of the route are non-racing. The sharp start will take place on the border of Prague and the Central Bohemian Region before Hostivice and will be signalled from the director's car.
The time limit for finishing the race on the Short course is about 18 km/h, for the Medium course it is about 22 km/h and for the Long course the limit is stricter 25 km/h. The last competitor to be counted in the results will cross the finish line at Strahov at 18:27.
The race organizer reserves the right to change the limits.
At the back of the race, at the time limit, a clearly marked organizer vehicle will follow. The sign on the vehicle will read either “uzávěra trati” or “časový limit.”
If a rider is overtaken by this vehicle, the organizer will inform them that they are no longer part of the race and become a regular road user. In the official results list, they will be marked as DNF (Did Not Finish) or OTL (Over Time Limit).
If a rider is overtaken by a vehicle marked “end of course” or “casovy limit,” they will be informed by the organizer from the vehicle that they are no longer part of the race and become a regular road user. They may continue to the finish line on their own but must fully comply with road traffic regulations.
Alternatively, they can board the sweep bus, which follows at the end of the race convoy. Bicycles are allowed on board.
A neutral support vehicle will accompany each route. Basic technical equipment will also be available at the feed zones. However, as hundreds of riders will start on each route, we strongly recommend being self-sufficient in this regard.
Official team support vehicles are not permitted.
