RECORD NUMBER OF FAN POINTS! CYCLISTS LOOK FORWARD TO AN EXCEPTIONAL ATMOSPHERE
A record number of fan points will accompany the sixth edition of the hilly L'Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France, taking place on 20 June 2026 across Prague and the Central Bohemian Region. A total of twenty-one locations along the route of the country’s biggest amateur cycling race are preparing special programmes for the third Saturday in June. As tradition now dictates, riders can once again look forward to an unforgettable atmosphere.
The first — and also the final — fan point will be located in Prague 4 at Pankrác, where the sixth edition of the hilly L'Etape will begin. For the first time in its history, the Czech edition of the race organised under the patronage of Amaury Sport Organisation, the organiser of the Tour de France, is moving away from Strahov. However, the new start and finish area near the Arkády Pankrác shopping centre will lose none of the charm previously offered by Větrná hůrka. Visitors to the race village, inspired by the Tour de France, can look forward to a truly varied programme.
Activities for both children and adults will be available throughout the weekend. Visitors can also enjoy talks with sporting legends, taking place in the race village on Friday 19 June. At 4:30 pm, former football goalkeeper Petr Čechwill answer questions from the audience, followed ninety minutes later by Peter Sagan — three-time cycling world champion and seven-time winner of the Škoda Auto green jersey competition. Race partners will also provide a wide range of competitions for children, alongside an EXPO zone, a Tour de France museum, an official Tour de France fan shop, and, naturally, plenty of food and refreshments.

And if you fancy heading out to support the riders at one of the fan points along the L'Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France route, there will certainly be plenty to choose from.
Visitors at every fan point can look forward not only to watching the peloton pass by, but also to enjoying local entertainment programmes. The race will also feature an advertising caravan inspired by the real Tour de France. Spectators will be able to see historic vehicles from the Mladá Boleslav factory, Škoda Auto promotional vehicles, and support cars from Direct. The caravan will hand out small gifts and fan merchandise to help create the perfect atmosphere as the race convoy passes through.
Selected fan points will also welcome a special guest. Cyclist Peter Sagan, ambassador for Škoda We Love Cycling and the hilly L'Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France, will stop at several spectator locations along the route.
Prague 12, on Komořanská Street opposite LTC Modřany, is preparing a fan point featuring children’s cycling races on a pump track, a competition for the best fan, and a range of additional activities.
Dolní Břežany will combine refreshments with the “Summer Solstice Ride”, a gathering of historic cars and motorcycles celebrating the development of post-war motoring culture in Europe, accompanied by an extensive cultural programme and Italian-inspired atmosphere.
In Jílové u Prahy, visitors can enjoy grilled specialities, refreshments, and the traditional Jílové Beer Festival.
The fan point in Neveklov will feature giant inflatable table football for teams, a shooting challenge, face painting, and an evening performance by the band Lahvátor after the peloton has passed through.

The village of Velká Lečice is preparing a fan point with live music from the band Žakéři, a bouncy castle for children, and barbecue refreshments.
Refreshment fan points will also be available in Bojanovice, Bratřínov, Nové Dvory, Křečovice, Maršovice, Prosenická Lhota, Petrov and Hvozdnice, where road painting activities are also planned.
Davle will host an exhibition dedicated to cycling races as part of its fan point, while Měchenice will organise a children’s sports afternoon alongside the race festivities.
You can also cheer on the cyclists at additional official fan points in Praha 12-Točná, Zbraslav-Strnady, Okrouhlo, Zahořany, Ohrobec and Zvole.
Don’t hesitate to come and enjoy the atmosphere at one of the fan points during the country’s biggest amateur cycling race — and become part of an event held under the banner of the Tour de France!
