Mountain stage - final info

FINAL INFO BEFORE THE START

Hi Rider!

Greetings from the team in Prachatice, where preparations are in full swing for the 2nd edition of the Mountain L'Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France!

We're looking forward to seeing you and sending you this email with all the key information in one place.

P.S.: Send a little prayer up there so we can leave the rain jackets at home—or at least tucked in the back pocket this time… Thanks!

START LIST, START GRID & RESULTS

The start list will be published no later than Friday at 12:00 here:
https://live.letapeczech.cz

Once published, your start number will appear on your Rider’s Card.

The start grid for the Mountain Stage opens at 12:30 and is divided into four blocks based on start numbers:

  • VIP Block: numbers 1–50 (access from Velké Náměstí)

  • Block 1: numbers 51–199 (access from Velké Náměstí)

  • Block 2: numbers 200–599 (access from Horní street)

  • Block 3: numbers 600 and up (access from Hradební and Jánská streets)

Because the historic town center is closed off, access to each block is from different streets—please review the map carefully to avoid last-minute stress.

Live race results will be available here:

PASTA PARTY

A big upgrade from last year and from Prague! This year, Spaghetti Parmigiano will be serving up fresh pasta straight from parmesan wheels!

  • From 10:00, you can use the food voucher from your starter pack at their food truck on the square.

  • From 15:00 to 19:00, pasta will also be served in the Národní dům hall.

Buon appetito!

BAG DROP, BIKE PARK, WASH STATION & SHOWER UPDATE!

Need to store a backpack or bag? You’ll find a bag drop in the atrium of the Old Town Hall (Race Office area).

Please note: After the race, no bikes will be allowed on the square due to limited space.

Instead, use the bike park on Neumannova street, where you’ll leave and collect your bike yourself. The bike park is located right next to the square’s entrance, so no worries about long walks in your cleats. To store your bike, you’ll need to wear the wristband with your start number from your starter pack. Thank you in advance for respecting this rule.

Due to operational reasons, post-race showers have been moved from the indoor pool to the outdoor swimming pool Hulák. You can ride there and leave your bike within the fenced area during your shower.
