Are you MAKING PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND? ARE YOU A FAN OF SPORTS, ESPECIALLY CYCLING? DO YOU LIKE FRANCE AND WOULD LIKE TO CREATE A BIT OF FRENCH ATMOSPHERE RIGHT here IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC?

We invite you to the 1st edition of the L'Etape Czech Republic road race from the series of amateur races under the banner of the Tour de France!

Bringing a race with such a famous name is a big deal and you shouldn't miss it the first time already! After all, what would the Tour itself be without the enthusiastic fans along the route?

Even for those of you who might not be convinced by the idea of merely passively supporting the racers along the course, we have a promise of good fun. Come and visit us in the L'Etape Village in Prague Strahov, where the race will start and finish, or in Fanpark Beroun with a rich accompanying programme. At both locations there will be a range of cycling-themed activities for families with children, professional hosts, celebrities from the world of cycling, engaging performances, good food and drink... and above all, the promised whiff of France.

8:00 Opening of the L’Etape Village
8:30 - 18:00 Museum Tour de France and Zone of partners - everything you wanted to know about the Tour de France but were afraid to ask. The history of the Tour, the jerseys and trophies handed out, but mainly the original Tour de France winner's trophy from Lasvit and the Director's Škoda ENYAQ iV from this year's Tour de France will be on exclusive display. Don't forget to visit stands of our partners as well.

9:45 START of the Long Route
10:00 - 16:00 O₂ Tour de Petřín - A fun tracking game designed for families with children. The task is to find the stops according to the clues in the special app, where tasks are performed and quiz questions thematically related to the Tour de France  answered. Participants are expected to move between the stations on bicycles. The route can also be completed on foot, but more time should be set aside for the activity. After successfully completing the route, a reward from the activity partner O₂ will be waiting at the finish line.

Concerning the FANPARK in Beroun, a rich accompanying programme will be prepared for you in the town centre between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

             

   

Here you can, among other things, watch the battle for the green jersey on the Sprint challenge that will cross the city. You can cheer the racers and give them some strength between 11:45 and 14:15.

Children can look forward to a bouncy castle, face painting or making their own L'Etape Czech Republic-themed pins and badges in the Fanpark. Adults will also find something to do, as they can try out a number of unconventional bikes together with the children, or enjoy a professionally moderated programme accompanied by music.

Bikes will of course be available for rent on site. But to make sure you get the right one, we recommend bringing your own bikes, the ones you are used to.

If you are coming to the event by car, our recommended parking can be found here. However, when travelling there and back, remember that some roads will be closed due to the race.

Refreshments will be available at the adjacent campsite.
